I think about the way lyrics have changed my life. I think about how lyrics have emotionally impacted me. I think about how lyrics have inspired me. I think about my favorite songs and how those songs make me feel. The way someone else’s words can lift my heart, make me cry, feel joy, or feel healed from past trauma. I think about how people can create lyrics and share those lyrics in a song that makes listeners feel something. It’s beautiful to see how lyrics can change a person’s life for the better. It’s powerful to see lyrics connect to an audience and really resonate with them. Human connection is a thing that makes life worthwhile. Thinking about human connection while songwriting is important.
